For the most part, this car is as yet un modified from stock. There are lots of boxes of parts waiting to be placed on the car, but most of these are replacing warn or broken items to bring the car back to full mechanical ability.


Simply, there is none. All carpet and rear seating have been removed. Stock front seats have been replaced with Sparco Pro 2000 fiberglass race buckets. Stock seat mounts have been retained. A Brey-Krause harness bar is mounted just behind the seats with the AutoPower 5 point harnesses mounted to stock seat belt locations.


Early on in the ownership of this car the brake system was upgraded. The stock SC brake system was replaced with a stock system from a later Carrera. This change is a pure bolt-on. It does not get any easier. No difference or increase in swept brake area, just an increase in rotor thickness allowing slotted and cross drilled rotors with more termal mass.

Drive Train

The prior owner installed the Porsche short Shift Kit. Throws are shorter than stock, but the kit puts more strain on the transmission. and it is actually harder to shift gears. An even trade off at best.


There is a Weltmeister un-triangulated front strut tower brace. Opinions are varied as to the effectiveness of un-triangulated braces.
